Laney VH100R Kemper Profiles
The British-made Laney VH100R is a two-channel 100-watt head with built-in boosts, and a rock amp through and through: smooth rather than aggressive, with a crunch-to-overdrive range that sits right in the middle of the road where most rock and roll actually lives. It will do clean and it will do heavy, but it is at its best driven.
What is in the pack: 26 DIRECT and 59 STUDIO profiles, running from clean through crunch to high gain. Studio profiles were captured through a Mesa Boogie 4×12, an Orange 1×12 and a Bogner 4×12 with a range of mics and boosts.
Who it is for: rock players who want one head that covers the set, and anyone after a warm, forgiving British drive that does not fight the rest of the band.
