This policy explains how ReampZone collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit or buy from this website, and sets out your rights over that information.

What we collect, and why
When you buy something
To take your order and give you your download we collect your name, email address, billing details and order history. We keep a record of what you bought so you can re-download it from your account, and so we can meet our accounting and tax obligations.

When you create an account
Your username, email address and password (stored encrypted — we cannot see it). Your account exists so you can reach your purchases and downloads.

When you subscribe to the newsletter
Your email address, plus the IP address and time of your subscription, which our email provider records as proof of consent. Subscribing is entirely optional and you can unsubscribe from any email we send.

When you simply browse
Standard technical information — pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests — understanding how the site is used and keeping it working.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we never will. We share it only with the providers below, each of which needs it to perform a specific job.
- PayPal — payment processing. When you pay, you deal with PayPal directly. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded and the billing details attached to the order. We never see or store your full card details.
- MailChimp (Intuit) — our email newsletter. Holds only the email address, IP address and subscription date of people who have opted in. If you have not subscribed, MailChimp holds nothing about you.
- Automattic — site statistics, through Jetpack Stats. Records page views and visit data to show us how the site is used.
- Google — reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms and login from automated abuse. Google receives technical information about your device and browsing in order to tell humans from bots. Its use is governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Our web host — stores the website and its database on our behalf.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. This site uses them for the following purposes.
- Strictly necessary — remembering what is in your basket, keeping you signed in, and recording your cookie choices. The site cannot work without these.
- Statistics — measuring page views so we can see which products and pages are of interest.
- Security — reCAPTCHA uses cookies to distinguish real visitors from automated ones.
You can manage non-essential cookies at any time using the Cookie settings link on any page, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the basket and checkout working.
How long we keep it
- Order records — six years after the transaction, which UK tax law requires.
- Account details — for as long as your account is open. Ask us and we will close and remove it, subject to the order records above.
- Newsletter subscription — until you unsubscribe.
- Contact messages — up to two years, so we have context if you get in touch again.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- be informed about how your data is used — this policy;
- request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- ask us to erase your data, where we have no continuing obligation to keep it;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- receive your data in a portable, machine-readable form;
- object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on.
To exercise any of these, contact us through our contact page. We will respond within one month. There is no charge unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Keeping it secure
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Payment details are handled entirely by PayPal and never reach our servers. Access to customer data is limited to those who need it to run the shop. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
International transfers
Some of the providers listed above process data outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are covered by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy. The version published here is the one in force, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
